Open the passengers door, carefully prise of the silver trim (If you have an sri) from door to stereo. You will then see 4 torx heads (T20 I think) undo these and the vent/screen area will just pull out. There is a large plug on the back of he screen that will undo. Sorry but that's as far as I can take you but am sure its just a couple of fixings and the screen pops off.

Right, trim comes of first, silver, wood, etc.

Here you can see the 4 torx (t20) that need removing.

Lift this little lever/catch and the plug pops off.

Then undo the 4 torx (T10) at the corners.

The hole screen then just lifts out.

Hope that helps mate. Not to sure what screen you have but the principle will be the same.

I know this is a slightly old thread but I didnít want to start another one just for the same stuff...
firstly, is the principal still the same if you've only got the clock/radio display that's in the sxi?

Secondly, there's a light/bulb out what illuminates the display at night, can you replace the bulb/light or is it new unit I need and could I put a display from a higher model in?

Thirdly.... where could I get a surround from?, the bit that hold the display/heaters in as mine is slightly damaged and if Iím taking the display apart I might as well replace that too.

thanks and sorry for so many questions
