Autorads and Attercliffe, Just checked receipt and mine was £68.00 from them, There is a AC specialist in Barlborough, just off junction 30 cant remember the name of the place. Pretty good on prices too.

committed a dreadful sin on friday -- did something always never do... went to kik fit for gas recharge
i know i know - it was just convenient at the time
aircon previously wasn't working at all in this horrible weather, but since the recharge it's like alaska in there now. quite chuffed,
    but it cost £49

It's a plug and play machine that even a Kwikfit ape can operate.

I wouldn't trust them with anything whether it be plug and play or not. Plug and play also doesn't mean they know what they are doing or operating the machine correctly, or even what they are looking for on the machine.

You've obviously had some kind of bad experience at KW. Loads of people haven't though and are more than happy to return.

In short they're not all the same shoddy outfit. There are one or two rotten eggs in all types of business.

The machine they use is basically the same as most others out there on the market. Connect it to the car, enter the cars details into the system and press the GO button. It really isn't rocket science.
