Default The green light on my battery has gone out !

You know that little light on the battery that is normally green ? well, mine has gone out. It did it a while ago after a few very short trips but it came back on after a longer mway drive.

Now it seems to have gone out altogether, do I need a new battery ?!!

The car is an 03 and it's the original battery so I suppose it's days may be numbered

It doesn't always signify that the battery has a problem. The only was is to get the dealer to put a meter on it to test it's state.

It is on the top of the battery, if you can't see it maybe yours has gone out too !

I had a similar one in a Cav years ago, that said on it what green, clear or black meant but I can't remember.

I'll get someone to put a meter on it, cheers for that Duncan
