2.0T K&N 57i Induction Kit

Hi to everyone, new to this so please be patient.

I have purchased a K&N Induction kit for my 2.0T and this will arrive tomorrow, has any one fitted this to this specific model of Vectra before? Do I need to have the ECU reset after fitting it or is it 'plug'n'play'?
I will post pictures soon, got a few things to change first!
I have also voted on the poll, another one to the 2.0T, were catching!

welcome to the site bobbin, ive often thought of getting one for my 20tbut was never totally sure so it will be interesting to see whether it makes a difference power wise and how noisy it is and how easy it is to fit etc.....dont forget to put your name in your local region, hitchen, is that near bedford???

Hi Bobbin, welcome to the site from a fellow 2.0T owner. Haven't fitted one myself, but very interested to see your result.

If you're interested in some serious power gains, this may interest you. It's a few more bob than a K&N filter though!!

Well, K&N fitted and Irmscher front grill fitted, all looking sweet

The K&N 57i took about 30mins to fit, bit fiddly, but worth the effort I think. You get a nice induction roar and you still hear the Turbo, so both together is great! If you have the stereo off when driving you can hear it clearly, nice roar and hiss, not too loud, with the stereo on you can still hear it but sounds better with it off

As far as power gains, you can feel a quicker pick up, not sure about top end, not got out and tried it yet, but without a doubt a difference in the responsivenes, I alsoo only use Optimax, so hopefully this will help too

I have also de-badged the whole car and put a Vectra brake light cover on, think that will do for now, want more power now though!

Oh, and Hitchin is near Bedford, closer to Stevenage though.

ive fitted a induction kit off a veccy b on mine.its slightly smaller than the one bobbin has fitted.ive got a nice turbo whistle with a very slight roar.when you let of the gas it has a nice woosh like a dump valve noise.
