My car is going back to Vx.

Everytime I turn the rear demister on, it makes my radio go crazy........

ne1 else had that?

Had a similar problem on my previous Vec B when listening to AM frequencies, however it was fine when listening to FM.
Even stranger, the cure was to turn on the rear wiper for a couple of times and this sorted it out!
Vx could never find the cause.

Happened when I bought the Signum and also AM was non existant.

They changed the aerial booster and all ok.

Something in the back of my brain from my engineering degree is saying ground.....

Maybe someone who actually knows their stuff wil be along in a bit?

Every time i turn my radio on it makes my mrs go crazy

turn that noise down

Anyone else had this problem

i had this problem on my vectra b, was told it was because my car had no external aerial and it used the element from the demister as an aerial, i got a new signal booster and it sorted it out

either change the ariel amplifier but also check the rear screen and ariel eathing point .

i,ve noticed it turns some peoples fog lights on as well, or is that just them pressing the wrong buttons

Perry, did the other frequencys work ok. I've got the CDC40 with DAB and AM has never worked but FM and DAB are AOK and because I have my external sat nav and nokia car kit wired and spliced in, the dealer wont look at it. I've got to have it all disconnected from the VX system first. Would unit did you have in your Siggy?

Willco AM was non existant and FM was ok ish but would lose stations very easily and only allowed me to pick up the main ones, IE Radio 1, 2 etc and even then keep losing them. I have the plain old CDR2005 in mine.
