It was another vectra [early model] driven by some one older than me!!
Accident injury claim etc is on going.
Don't post too much info on an open forum mate, wait until you have been paid out, looking at the rear of the car I doub't there will be any challenge to a whiplash claim anyway, but just incase don't post anything that might harm it.
Did he not manage to hit the brakes before he hit you? if so did the Police do skid tests to prove his speed?

The only cars equipped to do skid tests are those used by the accident investigation team. They only attend serious/fatal RTCs. If they attended every single rear end shunt, they'd never get time to eat/sleep!
