Punishment for panic buying?

I relented and told the wife to fill us up with diesel if she got the chance (we were 1/2 full). It cost her £30 for half a tank at somethng like 99.9p per litre of normal diesel.

Just read the paper while eating my packet of pickled onion crisps, and saw that Asda has started a price war. All its unleaded is now 89.9p and diesel 92.9. Typical, but a fitting punishment for people driving round needlessly with full tanks costing £60+ (myself included)

I didnt fill up, I had half a tank on Sunday, and ive still got a quarter, I just drove like a priest! Will get petrol from Asda though, Ive just read about that 89.9p a litre too

I filled up on Monday afternoon and I've got just under half a tank left. I usually go through a tank every seven days or so. It's about bl00dy time it came down.

I keep thinking about all these people that have stockpiled fuel in jerrycans etc. It does bring a smile to my face I have to admit.

I filled up at the weekend, as I was nearly empty. I'll leave it now until I get to France tomorrow. Just over e Euro a litre for diesel over there!
