    Default VXR Performance Centre

Am thinking about ditching my tuning box and getting the remap, I want to keep my car a long time and I think this will be the way to go for it

How busy are these guys at the VXRPC, how long would I have to wait or can they deal with you pretty much straight away.

How long does the remap take, can they do it in a day

    Cheers

I've been very happy with my 888 VXRPC Remap...

At the regal rolling road day it produced 188.4 bhp and 285 lbft

    Car is quick....

I also drove the Regal 210 bhp Signum and it didnt feel any different to mine...

spoons i know yours is 188 but what did your say it was going to push out?
888 told me id have 199 bhp without moding the car

i know you have put a k+n and exhausts so what would a stanard car do i think youd be lucky to get 175bhp maybe 180bhp max and for £500 i could do it

    Hi Chris,

888 say that you should get 195 bhp and up to 330 lbft torque.

    Well down on the torque..

Have a chat with Matt or Plasma as they both have the same 888 remap as me

Think we all should know by now that it's not all about the figures, rolling road figures change from one to another. It's about how the car drives and feels that really matter.

this is an option I'm looking at, one question hopefully you can answer....

what happens if the dealer was to load updated software, would this not wipe the remap installed by VXRPC, and if it did were do you stand in terms of getting it put back on, its a long way from where I live to go back down and get it re-installed

They will put it back on free of charge I think , but I have been told that they can`t put a map in by tech 2 , so think you are safe anyway ..

thats sounds alright, and if it's not remapped using tech2, then the dealer may not be able to see the remap?

I need to get in touch with them to discuss some dates I think
