    Default Films That Made You Go ooooh?

    Even if they are naff now, list 3 films that kinda blew you away when 1st released or watched, and give a reason why.


    1 - Highlander - The time zoning totally bit me.

    2 - Romancing The Stone - Fast paced all through

    3 - Mad Max - Cars,anarchy,stunts, revenge.

    Any era will do, I could do a few more, but lets see how the thread goes.

    1. Saving Private Ryan - opening scenes had me gobsmacked

    2. Top Gun - was in the process of joining RAF (nuff said)

    3. The Green Mile - I cried

    1. Jaws - Love it all, but when Quint gets got...Oooh

    2. Alien - Great Sci-Fi and so much suspense + a young Ms Weaver gettting into the space suit in her pants...

    Top Gun - I had a GPZ at the time !!

    Shawshank Remption - When he threw the chess piece at the poster and it went Through - Classic film

    Forest Gump - Made me Laugh

    All American pie films get an honourable mention .

    1. Saving Private Ryan - makes you realise how bad it would have been over there

    2. Gladiator - awesome film

    3. Terminator 2 - Still one of my favourite films

    Makes a lot of difference with these films if you have a surround sound system

    There are loads more films I could have put on list, but 3 is all you want to know
