Use CD70 Screen for DVD watching ?

does anyone know if the Color Nav Monitor has a normal video signal going into it?

Yeah I'd Go with that, its not gonna be as simple as plugging an ordinary video signal to it

Thanks for the reply's.
Does anyone have a broken one that I can take apart?
Or maybe an electrical manual of the car?
I am Radio & TV Technician by Trade and will be able to make something out of it.

I just cant believe that VX/Opel/GM would build a new interface for a monitor while fine ones are out there. It would be a lot cheaper to build an interface to change whatever the CANBus delivers to a video signal and use "normal" screens.

You might think that, i might think that BUT Vx don't

What might appear sensible and easy to us does not mean that Vx will follow the same logic unfortunately m8

yes it can be done
alpine and kenwood do this

the kenwood is a lot cheaper and does the same

the video is feed to the sreen and the sound is send to the radio on fm
you can add other things to it to like dab to it
