Default Anyone used these HID light Kits?

Seen these on Ebay for £199.

When you go to their website, they are only £159....?

Just wondering if they are ok?
Whats the legal brightness on UK roads?
    They sell upto 12000k

    Hi mate,

A few of us have done this mod over the last couple of years and if you search the site you will find comprehensive info on them including a how to. Personally I deal with Ian at www.hids4u.co.uk great service and price and if you mention the forum he will give you a good discount.

On brightness 12000K is not the brightest, it may be the most blue/purple output but deffo not brightest. The higher the K rating the dimmer the output but the more bluer. On our experience the 6000k bulbs are the best to go for. Get a decent light output and the blue tint. Ian at hids 4 u won't even sell you a 12000k bulb because they're ****e.

The X5 6000k kit is good value. To give you an idea my Vectra has afl lights that are hid and oem 4300K which give great light output but hardly any blue. I will be upgrading to 6000K bulbs this week.

    HTH,

    Paul.

Stick with 4300K, if you want a bit of blue go to 6000k but no higher.
I used HIDS4U as well, no probs, simple fit.

What kind of price is the Vectra-c kit?
There are a few on the site, but I can't see any mention of a X5 6000k Kit as mentioned by LeedsVectra

The X5 6000k kit has got to be one of the top kits one made
iv had my kit for 3 years now and had no prob with the kit or the lamps

id have to give them ten out of ten and there plug and play no relays or extra wirring needed with the x5 kit

the 4300 kit has the highest output but your eyes see the 6000 kits better
