Default Xmas is only 13 weeks away (approx)

Seems so far away but in fact its only just over 3 months till xmas day, which will fly by, especially once the shopping and parties start.

What are peoples plans? Anyone going away for xmas?

For us its a bit special as its our first xmas with our first child. Henry will only be 9 months so wont really appriecate things but nevertheless i know he's probably going to get spoilt. Its also the first year we are 'hosting' xmas dinner, and with my brother/wife and my mam/dad coming up were quite excited.

I'm working 7am-7pm Xmas day, the same boxing day, followed by two 12 hour night shifts. Not even gonna get to see the kids open their prezzies.

That's the very reason I gave up the Blue Lights (Fire Service). I work 8 til 4 now and have weekends off (unless overtime). Get all Bank holidays off. At least you can get rid of some stress and keep catching these drivers who still think they can go to parties and drive home. Keep up the good work!

Andy - Don't forget Daddy's write the boys list for Father Christmas. This way your boy will get the Radio controlled Vectra and Scalextric that you can test for when he's old enough. LOL

I absolutley love Xmas. Can't wait.
