Default back with another vectra z20net td04

well sold my bmw X5 about 2 weeks ago and bought another vectra, was looking at 1.8 vvt but a 2.0t xp sri in silver popped up so I went and seen it and bought it.

one thing I can't find too much info about is mines an 07 with grey injectors - tdo4 think it's a 14t but cant quite see the plate properly.

It seems that not alot of tuning companies reliase these changes even neo brothers as they said they have never seen a vectra with a td04, and looking at bsr website with a down pipe injectors and a bigger turbo you can be looking at 260bhp.

My question is if my car is essentialy a saab 9-3 aero setup why can't I go straight to 240bhp? cheers

It won't be the Aero set up, because the Saab has different cams.

    Vehicle : Insignia Tourer

The early 2.0T's have the Garret 2052 turbo fitted, the later ones have the TD04-11T.

The stage 3/4 Maptun upgrade relies on the TD04-14T being fitted and the larger 381cc injectors (the later facelifts have the bigger injectors already).

so the turbo is the limiting factor, what sort of power can a 11t run? yeah mine has the larger grey injectors

Is it just the aero that has different cams or the b207l/e also,

Just the B207R (Aero); the E and L have the same cams as the Z20NET.

the grey injectors are Denso 381cc so the same capactity as the siemens Deka 381cc, its just that the vectras/signums with the grey injectors also came with a different fuel rail and pressure regulator than the earlier engines, not sure why as it looks like the old saab fuel rail from the pre 2003 cars..

On the 07 cars there is also a variation on the exhaust manifolds, the post 07 models have a slightly larger and better flowing manifold than the earlier cars... these can be retrofitted to earlier models if they wanted to..

The Aero cams can be retrofitted easy enough but labour costs vary on how quick somebody is at the job..

If you speak to Neos about these its best to talk with Nicholas as he has been involved with us for a while and is aware of the variations..
