OEM?
Aftermarket, such as Bilstein?
If the latter, then http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?154080
EDIT ignore that, as the B4's are for standard suspension. IIRC for the SRi you need the B6's.
oem please.
I have B4's on my SRi and they are spot on.
Chewy, didn't think your car had many miles on, you getting some problems?
yes annoyingly but never mind. Suspension went very soft and all feel from the road gone. Replaced the shocks all round and the link rods which has improved massively, but still seems soft in comparison to before. (still also feels to be some lateral issue as if the body is swaying sideways).
My thoughts are that maybe the wrong shock were supplied - purchased OEM ones from Autovaux and so would like the numbers to check.
Just been out and I'm ashamed to say that the sticker is too mucky to make out a part number, you can see 'SACHS' and 'GM' but can't make out the number, sorry.
Thanks Dan,..
These numbers are standard parts , AFAIK SRI does use standard shocks and just shorter springs.
Part numbers observed:
Front right Shock absorber
4903 002 849
13 254 162
Front left Shock absorber
4903 002 848
13 254 161
Sachs part numbers have changed from those on mine and was advised
312 611 LH
312 612 RH

I always thought the SRi ones were a bit shorter than the std shocks ???
