    Default DIY sri rear valance?

Is it possible to cut a rear standard bumper and fit the black plastic valance into it? Or is the standard bumper higher than the sri bumper meaning the exhaust wouldn't line up? By standard I mean "Life" trim.

Not entirely sure if its possible, but in my opinion it's probably not worth the hassle. It'll probably only end up looking like a home brew botch job, or with the bumper ruined completely. I'd reckon you'd be far far easier just changing the whole bumper. It's not a difficult job, and complete SRi bumpers come up on eBay regularly for less than £100. Might even get one the right colour if you're lucky.

I agree with this, the bumpers, although similar are shaped slightly different where the cut out would normally be, you would struggle to cut it good enough to get the diffuser fitted without looking horrid, and then there's the issue of actually fixing it in place etc.

Yeah I thought that. It's just over here in Ireland it's near impossible to find anything that's not paddy spec(bog standard spec). Also most beaters won't post things this big over here or else will charge more than item to post!
