Default 2.0T Hose & Dump Valve Exit

Hi guys, right im looking at getting a special hose made for the turbo which will include the pipe to fit a dump valve. as you know that you have to cut the stock inlet pipe to fit a BOV.

i have had the kits made before but its not going to be cheap. the last set i had made for my Accord Type R cost £55.00 for just 2 hoses but that was based on 6 kits.

just not sure if its going to be worth the it thats all. if i can get a few interested i will do the leg work.

    as shown below

    http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=15116

the one below shows mine installed

dont do it mate,if your going to fit the bsr kit they dont recommend this as it can upset the air flow meter.not good for the engine as it can start running lean.holed pistons not good either.

yes mate, the standard dump valve on the 2.0t as standard is a recurculating one which is obviously ok,but if you change this for a blow off type eg bailey ect then this might cause you problems especially with the bsr kit fitted.have a look on the bsr web site under faq.hope this helps mate.

as long i run the correct spring in the BOV for the PSI it will be fine. i think the standard spring is good for 14psi, anything else i need to change

no mate, its the electronic side of things that this mod causes problems with, because of the air being vented straight out instead of back into the engine.like ive said have a look on the bsr we site this explains everthing mate.
