Default CID Interface and half din dvd player

Hi all, I have got the above and I'd like to find out how I go about fitting the interface to the CID screen? Then the fitting of the eonon D0009 half din dvd player.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is your car a full-CAN one or a half-CAN one? If the CID is full can, you can get a video interface for about £150 that will do it, then just link the yellow composite from the dvd player to the video input box. If it's a half-CAN one, then you can't.

I got a link to a pdf manual for it - following that, it's straight forward, but a little fiddly

You have to pop the CID apart, remove one of the ribbon cables, and the interface plugs into that (well, if it's the one I'm thinking of anyway). You then have a couple of hidden buttons to swap between aux-in (where you'd plug your dvd player) or standard running so you get the radio and BC information on the screen.

https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&p...NzI2YmJmOTkzZA that's the link to the install manual for the one I'm thinking of (Sold by YYSNET on eBay iirc). There is another one sold by either a Czech or a Polish company iirc, but I'm not sure if it fits the same way.
