    Default Today's Bonnet Mirror Mission

    Well leading on from this...

    I got cracking on them, pic heavy













    Here's an older pic of my 2.2's mirrors and what they should look like on the CDTI eventually


    @michael_linford will have his on tomorrow, I still need to spray under the CDTI and remove a couple of rivets and the alarm pin switch...

    I was gonna use stainless last time but the extra weight worried me, plus these are easy to shape at home... I'm going to add a few stainless bits to the various engine covers however

    1mm stainless shouldn't add much weight. 1 metre square would be 8kg. I wouldn't imagine you'd need much more.doesn't look too easy on the insignia. Big sound insulation panel under there.

    Im going to remove that and see what it looks like behind it. Im wondering if its not going to be painted tho

    I'll be surprised if its painted but post up the pic when you do... Hopefully it has minimal bracing because a million smaller panels would look weird IMO, like the focus ones lol.
