    Default Misfire @ 1800rpm

My car is an '04 1.9 CDTI

Runs fine throughout the rev range other than when it hits 1800rpms. Then the engine judders, the car lurches back & forth. Rev higher or lower & it's fine.

    What might cause that?

Ye mines same too. Cleaned EGR, cleaned throttle body, checked pipes, took out the gauze from boost sensor. Still the same. What else is there to do. It's a doing it nearly a year now.

Is it a mis-fire or a flat spot? The CDTI is notorious for the flat spot... where power drops off then kicks back in

This seems pretty common. Mine does the same, only at about 2000 rpm and only on light throttle settings - if I put my foot down it runs smoothly. It's not a flat spot but more of a judder.

PS: Replaced EGR valve (and tried it blanked and unplugged), cleaned throttle body, replace boost sensor and solenoid thing.
