Okay - a little dissaponting but V5 came through on Sat so plates are on - & also debadged replaced with Irmscher item. Opel badge is on order to replace the standard Vaux item. More to come very soon:

* Irmy rear roof spoiler
* VXR line front lower spoiler.
* VXR colour coded grille.

I washed it yesterday - 12 miles later - filthy. Roll on Summer.

Not going to wax or seal the paint until warmer weather comes..

How hard was your roof spoiler to fit? Yours looks good BTW. I have some irmy door pins on order from AndyVec. Saw a pic of your old Vec when I dropped into Andy's last week - Ouch!!

Roof spoiler was a real **** to fit as it is an Irmscher copy. Go for the real thing Matt. Mine was in the body shop for nearly a week and it was only due to me having loads of work done by them previously that they bothered. I told them to sling it and i'd buy a new genuine one instead. In fairness to them they managed to get it to sit right in the end.

I Have AndyVec looking for one at the mo...

Apart from that - bought the VXR line lower spoiler off Matt today. Already painted in Sapph black . That will be going on next week.

Why dont you make Andyvec an offer on the Snowflakes he is selling, if you want bigger wheels?

couldnt agree more with you about the facelift grille - too much chrome!! I have the Chrome mirrors so it makes it worse.

So far costs to do the grille = £40 for primed grille assy.
Quoted £40 - £50 to paint in pearl sapphire.

Though I am hoping to get the grille and spoiler painted at the same time to make it easier and cheaper...

that doesnt sound too bad for painting, ive got saph black aswell so it wont be too far off.

i really like the irmscher grill - but £175 is a tad steep....

have to see if the price drops in the near future - if not then the colour coded version is the winner.
