Default Went mad with my LEDs

Got a strip of LEDs in the post today so decided to fit them, hooked them up to the ciggy lighter but i think thats temporary, because i want them on when the speedo illumination is on so that it turns on whenever i unlock the door or open them or turn on the lights. Anyone done the before this way? would appreciated info on where to hook them up :P

You can do them to the interior light so fob activated and doors open etc... Or use the yellow/grey dash feed wire, again fob but light switch activated and will dim with the dimmer... I wouldn't want them on all the time however, I did mine to the interior light, white/brown & brown wires in the interior light block

Thanks for the help, but what you mean by the dash feed wire? the wire that goes to the light switch?

Sorry meant the dash LED feed, for illumination... Its the yellow/grey wires and there's various ones around, cig lighter may have one, blocks behind the dash, you may even have wires under the arm rest where some have the wires for rear heated seat blocks

What he meant is that you might of wired it up in a way that could give you shortages that could in turn blow fuses and other things, for example not soldered together, no heatshirnk or electrical tape around the connections which then touch of each other creating shortages. Have a look back at your wiring make sure everything is hooked up nice and secure, especially if you're twisting and taping your connections.
