    Eek clutch slipping?

help, my 2005 v6 diesel with tuning box fitted has developed clutch slip, when driving in 4th 5th or 6th gear when i floor it at 2 thousand revs the tacho jumps to 3 thou without going any faster, then the clutch seems to get hold again and everything is ok till the next gearchange then it happens again. it seems as though this is happening as the car comes on boost and is making all the bhp hence a weak clutch will let go at this point, has anyone else had this problem ? the car only has 20thousand miles on is under network q . is the clutch covered ? help

hi m8, take the tunning box off and then try it. have seen many posts on the 2.0T ( same as saab models ) having the same problem when having the BSR map.

but when they took the map off the clutch was fine so it would be hard to get it covered under the warreny as it only does it when the BSR map was running.

seems to me that the VX clutches are only good on stock BHP etc.

I had the same problem. Solution? Replace clutch disc. It had worn down. Now it's like flying.
