    Default vectra sri suspension

    changed my suspension and looking to sell my old suspension, its from 2.0t is there any differance between diesel and petrol setup, dont want to advertise it then to find the front springs are to soft for a diesel

    Springs are rated by each engine, some are grouped together

    so what does that mean my front springs will be fine on a diesel

    If you check Ebay etc, I would say the Petrol 1.8,2.0 and 2.2 will be similar ratings. Have a look at the front axle rating of your car.

    i know the springs will fit accross the petrol range just need to know will they be ok on a diesel 1,9 150 & 1.9 120 and so on

    I wouldnt think so, the diesel lumps are normally quite a bit heavier than petrol.

    Only real way to find out is to check front axle weights. I beleive they are on the car somewhere, probably the same place as the tyre pressure sticker?

    Axle weights are on the door pillar badge and I used them to check which lowering springs to get. Even my 1.9 8v is >1000KG front axle
