Stereo won't turn off

Please somebody!!!
hi got an 07 sri which i put a pioneer avic f30bt into in january with no problems at all.
Yesterday decided to have a go at fitting a rear view camera but due to lack off time stopped and put everything back together.
Drove to get my boy from school and everything was fine untill i got back into car and stereo was on??
Drove home turned off car and stereo turned off , then on getting out it came back on with no keys in and won't turn off. I hav n't changed any wiring to the stereo.
Quickly put my old pioneer in and same thing happened so not stereo.
Now the odd thing, if i turn on the lights without ignition on the stereo goes off.
Everything else works.
Checked fuses , all ok

I was tapping into the reversing light for camera power.

Could it be a relay or am i looking at a hefty diagnostic bill?

Unplug the quadlock adaptor from the car, rather than just the radio from the adaptor. It might have a CAN box on it that needs resetting. Leave it unplugged for 5 mins and retry.

I can't understand how, especially if you haven't changed the wiring! The quadlok adaptor will either need a switched live tapping onto it or if it is a smart one (stalk control adaptor) it will only switch on when the turn-on message has been given by the BCM to it. It only has one single permanent live to it.

Can you verify that the wiring on the Pioneer loom is red is to red and yellow is to yellow, also can you confirm the type of adaptor you're using - either a quadlok plug with just wires to an ISO, or a quadlok plug with wires to a small black box, and then to an ISO?

Also, it's worth a try - press and hold the lower of the two buttons on the steering wheel, left hand side of it. (iirc it looks like two circles with a line on top). That should put you into the settings on the screen. Can you report back with the Ign Logic setting - ie is the box X'd or not X'd.

hi mate
red is to red and yellow to yellow. did try swapping them but then theres no station memory then.
Has quadlok plug with wires to iso and black connects2 box for stalk adapter
Settings say ignition logic on.
