    Talking 120bhp cdti advice

    Hi
I currently have a year 2000 impreza turbo and im getting rid as i have been offered a 54 plate 1.9 cdti 120bhp elite for a song (my dads!).

i have trolled the forum for info and im still unsure what the best course of tuning is. remap or tuning box? are s/s exhausts of any benefit (performance wise) induction kit or panel filter any use?

and what is the most a 8v 120bhp will deliver i have seen one on here at 165bhp but is more available if im willing to throw a bit of cash its way? and if so what will deliver more?

many thanks and looking foreward to becoming a member or ther cdti crew!

yes, m8, same result for the pre-facelift with the same engine...

    here

and if i remember right...their charge is around £350, they come to you and offer a free return to standard service if you don't like.

The only thing i'd be dubious about is the fact that if they're mobile, they obviously have no RR facilities, so how do you know what power and torque you're getting?.....but they must get their figures from somewhere!

180bhp-309lb-s torque is a tad optimistic IMO mainly on the torque level but not far off.

    I would say 170/280.
