    Default Central Locking Not working

Right, need another bit of help,, my central locking isnt working, key fob is knackered so have to lock it with the key for now but it only locks drivers side door the rest will not close, if I close them with the button on drivers door then all 4 doors will close and open, I thought it was drivers side door lock so I changed it but no luck still will not lock or unlock all doors with the key, scanned it with opcom and it comes back with error code B2966-05 "driver doorknob circuit open or high voltage", any suggestions?

I take it the drivers door is shut when trying, and you're either reaching in from one of the passenger doors to press the lock button onthe panel?

Woody you are absolutely right, I have already put eibach suspension in to replace them daft coilovers.
Memory leather seats from that silver sigi are going in aswell when I get a chance.
With regards to the lock, yes drivers door is shut and I am pressing the button while on drivers seat.

Sounds like you have the same issue as me - on mine the car thinks the driver's door is open even when closed, and therefore when I try to lock the car with the remote, the door pins go down and then come back up. I have a constant warning on the dash that the driver's door is open, but I'm not sure all versions of the Vec come with that facility.

No mine does not do that , it does lock from inside when you press the button, all 4 door lock. But when you try to lock it
with the key, not the fob, it will only lock or unlock drivers door, I have changed DS door lock, both door switches but still no luck.

Having re-read your original post, the driver door lock is working correctly.

At some point Vauxhall changed the lock/unlock procedure so that all doors will only lock/unlock with the remote or by using the buttons on the driver door panel.

My old 53 reg (2004) Vectra Elegance locked/unlocked all the doors with the key, but my current 06 (2006) doesn't.

    It's documented in the handbook.
