You can if @plasma is working out the wires for you ( thanks again mate).
we spent today rigging up a test loom and im very pleased to say all went well and we will be fitting it the correct way next week as the position in the pics below was not ideal

Did he use a facelift loom and facelift heater box ? , today was a test to see if preface bits could be made to work in a facelift

Yea it was all face-lift parts and swapped the whole dash loom for an elite one as I was having other things retro fitted.

What's the difference the with duel cc in face and pre-face?

Its so much better having climate by just turning the knob to your desired setting and the panel looks better with light up rings.

Rather than change the entire loom as elite fscelift looms seem quite scarce we opted to add the missing wires to my existing loom !
Mostly the wiring is completely different but dean is probably the best man to explain that one lol , although it all works we were unable to get it to work with a preface climate control panel despite trying all sorts of wonderful things

Sounds like a similar problem to when @Robsey retrofitted my CD70 to my half can car with ECC.
It definitely required that the full can ECC unit be fitted before everything worked
I've got to admit that I had read this issue would arise from going through previous posts, so it's not anything new.

I have originally fitted fully automatic dual zone climate control in my 2003 half-CAN preface.

It's a half CAN module, though, and won't probably work with a CD70, for instance.

No matey, it definitely won't work, but if you get to install a CD70 and have almost finished, then simply swapping the ECC unit for a fullcan version just "works"
