No warning lights and seems to still pull normal turbo kicking in around 1300 revs

Reading his original post, I do not think he has a tuning box (he said - as if it had a tuning box fitted). I would drive in 3rd at about 4k revs for a 4 to 5 minute period to clear the cob webs out then would re-try. It maybe just clearing all stuff in the exhaust side (cats etc). If I floor mine, I get smoke. I usually italian tune once a week and that keeps the smoke at a minimum

Yea no tuning box. Am thinking due to the car only been doing short trips in town that soot is building up. Will try when come back from holiday.

Mine gets redlined in 3rd at least once a week....as mentioned above, clears the tubes and using V-power helps keep soot levels down as well
Just be thankful it's a new tech diseasel....remember how smokey old tech ones were...and how noisy and smelly :-(
Bloke at work has an 'N' reg VW diseasel...more Massey Ferguson than Dubber :-)

I hate to open a can of worms here, but do you use supermarket fuel?....this can cause smoking!
