Default Flipping Flywheel (4 days after warranty expired)!!! HELP!

I am so effin cheesed off at the moment!!

I've had my car just under a year and the flywheel and clutch was done on the 18th April 2012 about 3 weeks before I bought it, and this morning, more or less exactly a year on and the frigging flywheels has gone. Do you think the garage would look at it under the warranty? Should it last more than a year with about 6k miles done?

Its started to rattle when the car is idling. Doesnt really make a difference when the clutch is pressed or not.

Only 4 weeks have just restarted work after 4 months off.
Second child is due in under 6 weeks.
I have only just this weekend renewed my car insurance and breakdown at a cost of £650.00.

To say I am annoyed is an understatement!!

Now a dilema, do I get rid of the car of get it fixed?
    Its a 2.0 DTI Design with 104k, FSH on a 2005/05.

Also, its only just started rattling this morning but the noise is constant......HOW LONG WILL IT LAST? Am I safe to continue driving the car? I know some people have gone a year or so, but am I causing more damage?
Truth is I havent got the £££ to get it sorted yet so I guess im anyway.

How long is a piece of string is your answer to how long it will last.realistically tho people can go for a good few years with no problems other than the rattle You may get the garage to do good will. And reduce labour but I wouldn't be certain

Contact the garage mate, you can tell them that even though it is ever so slightly over 12 months old it has only done half an annual years mileage.

When I had mine fitted, it came with a 2 year / 20'000 mile warranty... you might want to check out that you only have a 12 month warranty.
