Two idiots came along side me this aft on a duel carriageway in a t reg scooby turbo being totally stupid and then joining the motorway slip road they where doing 50 for a few hundred yards again been daft and then they gave it a bootfull, i was still in 3rd so i gave mine the beans and honestly mine kept up with it up to 80 before i backed off, really suprised because the scooby did sound very healthy.

I doubt it - cars are getting faster. There's a whole load of BMW and Audi diesel saloons that would beat a Carlton GSi, and that's before you start looking at performance models such M Sport or S/RS.

My old AX GT would leave anything for dead. I've also had a saxo VTS

Some scoobys are only putting out low power.
