Default Porta cabled the car windows

I polished the windows on Larisa,s Vectra today with Megs glass polish on a 4" orange spot pad, useing my Porta Cable, I was pleased with the results, It got all of the road grim and grease off the windscreen and the glass looks like new, Larisa was complaining about the grease smears when the wipers passed over the screen, now she should be very pleased with the results too I will give the windscreen a going over on mine tomorrow, you can not do too much to keep your lady pleased. can you

Hi Tommy, I was very supprised to the amount of black "debris" that was on the spotting pad, to be honest I am not sure if some of it came off the black trim, but when I wiped the polish off with a "duster" that was covered in black grime, so I would say that most of it was acctually on the glass, It has got the road film off the windscreen, there may be better products on the market for polishing glass, but I had some Meegs glass cleaner lyeing around so I though I would give it a go, as I say I was pleased with the results.
I would put some pictures on but the glass is so clean all you would see is the inside of the car, fortunatly I cleaned that before cleaning the outside, "oh" how I wish Larisa would get into detailing too.

I did try claying the windscreen with Megs clay but in my opinion it did not do any good, that is one of the reasons I went over thr glass with the potta cable and megs glass polish........... Try the clay on the glass it will not do any harm, see how you get on..

Clay on glass is great the 1st time you do it but after that a regular polish with the glass polish does the trick. Be careful though there are some rubbish glass polishes out there. AG Glass Polish is very good though.

    Nice one Ed.

Clean the wiper blades as well, it's amazing how much black cr@p comes off them.

If you do this as well as the glass the blades glide like they are new.

After polishing if you give the blades themselves a wipe with the pad used to apply the AG glass polish this will help prevent streaking aswell.
