Default HELP NEEDED: Wiring for retro fitting front fog lights on facelift

    Hi all,

I am retro fitting the front fog lights to our Signum Facelift.
I have activated front fog lights and used the original harness plus changed the headlight switch to one with front fog light switch but they do not work. I did come across a thread that said I needed to change a wire around on the ECU or something but I cannot find it and didn't save it as a favourite, doh!

So any help would be appreciated either finding the thread or telling me what wires to change

    thanks

Thinking about it did you already have the fog light plugs in place behind bumper?

if youve added the wiring or have the wiring present and
connected the plugs to the fogs and activated them then they shud work

if youve added the wiring for thefogs and connected it to the multiplug under the
uec then it sounds like ya uec wont support front fogs which in that
    case replacement uec is required.

advise exactly what youve done and wot you e added exactly

The wires were there but I am not sure if the previous owner put them in. I am hopping they were there and not retro fitted

Ok so here's some facts to help:

I enabled fog lights in the UEC.

    UEC ident code is JH
    part no: 13240246

When I put the ignition on I get t he check bulb failure for the left fog light bulb.

Fault codes showing up in UEC are:
B2698-04 open circuit fog light left
B2525-04 open circuit fog light right

Thinking about this do I need to put a fuse in somewhere?

If the wires where their remove the relay an feed 12v into the inner of the larger relays pins

if the fogs come on you know the wiring is ok from UEC to fogs

then check you have 2 12v on the relay and a good ground on the control

you may just require a new UEC
