iTunes - Ipod Help Please

Hi

I have some very high quality sound files in the format ".flac" and I want to get onto iTunes and my Ipod.

.flac files are not supported by iTunes / Ipod ....

Can anyone recommend a conversion program (preferably free) to do this, or advise on how to do it myself.

Know nothing about FLAC.

But this program claims it will convert FLAC to MP3 which the Ipod will support. (Software features)

It will support MP3 too. Itunes can convert mp3 to AAC or vice versa anyway. Just need to change the import settings.
