Default Snappy / Aggressive Clutch? Z19DT

    Hi Guys,
Regular readers will be aware I'm still moaning about the clutch/jerkyness of the car in certain scenarios.

If I change gear normally it can make a hell of a knock/clunk so I really have to be careful. Also when cruising if I touch the throttle quickly or come off it quickly the car really lurches. I initially thought maybe an engine mount but they have been checked twice and ok. It worst in 1st gear but even at motorway speeds there's a clear clunk/knock on and off the power.

Also, when I stop in traffic if I raise the clutch really slowly as the pedal reaches the bite there is a donk. Its as it there is some slack somewhere being taken up. If I then dip the pedal and do it again theres nothing. Until I move the car (even a foot) its back again.

Now what could it be? Is it a knackered clutch/DMF not damping as it should? Could it be bled out? Driveshafts and CV joints also checked and fine.

Without being in your car its hard to say

first off get your drive shafts checked

its could be clutch drag or could be start of flywheel failing

I had the driveshafts and CV's checked today. Fine. Engine mounts, fine.

One of the drop links (drivers side) did look to have a damged rubber, could that cause this though?

Been like it since I bought it ~September last year. Done 14,000 miles and its got no worse or better. Part of me wanted something to break so at least I know what is going on.

Anyone else experienced this or had to rebleed the clutch to try and damped the bite/pickup?
