Default Very productive day and a big thanks to Rich Squirrell25

Well had a very productive day today, went around Richard's so we could drop my drivers side strut as i was suspicious about my top mount and to also replace my vacuum pump gasket, we started off with dropping the front suspension leg and upon inspection and horror saw the problem and now know why i was getting the dreaded squeak, it appears the force of the pothole i hit actually bent the washer on the top strut and also bent the strut top mount too this over time was rubbing the shock and it actually rubbed away some of the mount into an egg shape here are a few pics i took

We flattened the washer and tightened up the top mount nut as tight as we could using the Vortex sockets which im going to invest in as they are superb and while we was at it we tightened the other side, after i got it home gave the car a wash and quick polish but needs claying and a good going over paint correction here are a few shots

Claying is basically a clay bar that removes traffic film like tar and tree sap really well that washing can't, when you use it you must remember to keep bar and car well lubed
