I haven't done it yet, but I'm planning to have some exhaust people made me a straight through pipe that I will replace DPF with. Don't want to get asthma attack from messing with that filter lol

Would smashing the guts out an leaving sensor disconnected achieve sane thing on temporary basis?

i know it would throw emissions light on but if it can't work out saturation level it would revert to a default setting

but it wouldn't try and regen.
I mean only as temporary due to MOT failure with light on.

but that's a short term DIY

I definatly need to get into this dpf egr delete stuff.

so many problems with dpfs in work with customers being sold basically wrong car

Its the smashing the guts out that I am really interested to know how people have done it..... I have the map with no dpf ready to write ... @littleteapot will know better but I am sure that the car may try a regen even with the guts removed if you don't delete the function from the map...

I used a 50cm x 12mm masonry drill.bit to drill lots of holes through the honeycombe. Attacking it from both ends. Then I took a club hammer and crowbar and smashed the hell out of it. Id recommend a mask and safety glasses.
