All,

Hope some of you pre-facelift owners can confirm my suspicion or put it to bed. I seem to remember my pre-facelift 03 reg sri having proper paint finish on the inner doors and inner metals of the boot area. I remeber because I used to shine them up in the summer. I gave my facelift a good clean yesterday and all the inner doors and all inner metals are just thin flat paint that doesn't shine up.

Yeah I think you're right. It's a "proper" paint finish on the sills, around the slam panels and around the edges of the doors. Like you, I have cleaned them up in the summer and they shine like the rest of the car

Under the bonnet and down the water channels in the boot are flat in my car, cleaned them yesterday and was a bit annoyed
