    Default Lowering Advice??

Sorry to all on the forum before I start as I know that this has been asked many many many many times before. But as I canny get to grips with the new search here goes. Just had the dreaded front spring break and was just quoted £180 to change the damn thing. So my question is what`s you guys thoughts on lowering springs. Car is a Vectra 1.9 150 cdti on a 07 plate. Will I have to change shocks etc.. and could someone on here maybe change them for me for "Beer tokens"?

I had a wee look on the bay of E and was getting the kind of results that you quote. I just thought that £180 for one spring fitted was a bit expensive. Or maybe I`m just a tight Scotsman.

I had the same problem a while back! Turns out you can get some aftermarket springs cheaper than 1 new one fitted!

I went for PI springs (-30mm) and had no problems at all with them. I got my local garage to fit them as just didn't have the time.

I think I got mine from these guys:
