the VXR shocks, is it just a 12v supply to activate them??

Is more than that mate , cdc module stiffens them up etc
If your after a decent suspension setup buy some Bilstein's, the VXR IDS is rubbish in my opinion mate.
I dont want solid suspension all the time hence the ids
You' be better off going for Bilstein B6 then, both Christ and I have B8's with DAP Racing springs, which is a pretty firm ride.
However I still think they absorb bumps better than the IDS ever did.
The other problem with IDS is that they leak.
In my opinon the IDS stuff is rubbish, the suspension has no give in it crashes over bumps making the car skip and also helping to crack the
19' wheels, to replace one leaking front shock is over £300!!! so when i drove paulmacs car with the bilsteins and the dap springs fitted, its light and day difference in compare with the Ids stuff.. i was so impressed i saved up and bought the same set up for my vxr!! as paul said you dont have to go to this extreme set up Bilstein B6's with dap springs or even Eibach springs and you will be impressed
having been in Pauls car , it is not that bad a ride , and seems to go round corners like it is on rails
I'm just attaching myself to this, as my vectra opc has a pretty harsh ride on 18" and IDS shocks. What's the choice for a little more comfort without the loss of handling? Or same comfort and better handling. I've seen this damptronic on some of the bilstein shocks, would that work on the vectra with the sport button with a little modding?
