    Default Would you flipping belive it! Mud Flap painting fail

    Well decided to paint my mud flaps last night. Just put lacquer on and then one fell off the stand! Gutted! All crap stuck to it.

    So now 3 are mint and 1 is well...not so!

    Luckily the paint hand not set so I was able to take a knife to it and scrape it all off . bad thing is I've had to buy 3 more tins of paint to finish it!

    Lesson learned!

    Unlucky mate i did that with centre caps i was painting
    two fell on the floor and landed wet side down lol

    Yeah been there done that... Did my engine caps and I like to blow a bit of air over them to tac off after each coat, went full blast by accident and blew a cap across the unit floor, last coat too lol

    Wtf! What have I done wrong its all just f%#king come off!

    It's like the primer didn't stick to the plastic! I used plastic primer!

    Well these are now going up for sale for someone else to have ago at. I've painted them once. Got someone else to paint and sand them again and they have still cracked the paint.

    So ill be sticking them up for sale asap! Very annoying
