    Default Opel Grill

    does anyone know if the opel badge on this grill can be removed and replaced with a griffin badge of similar size

    I've seen it done but not convincingly as the tips of zig-zag/flash are part of the main grill. You might be able to grind it flat and colour code it to match your paint.

    No,i don't think so it's moulded.
    But why would you want to? I love the heritage of VX to bits my grandad and dad in turn have both run them over the years,but I opted for the colour coded star silver opel grill and it looks sooo good.
    So I've fitted opel wheel caps,and opel valve caps,de-badged the back,will be inserting a VXR rear diffuser and have a blue opel line badge on the way.
    Got a little caught up with it,but it's fun!!! Lol

    ere sparky mate, i got 2.2 star silver sri, any chance of pictures of your grill colour coded so i can see, misses not too chuffed, i just bought chrome handle covers tonight. she says i'm obsessed, yeah, so what

    I saw something like this on ebay a while ago and been thinking about doing it. Maybe the griffin off the back will fit, bit of superglue and lovely!

    I have put this very grill on to my 2.0T Signum DESIGN, you will not be able to do the mod as the badge is a complete moulding. I have also removed the Griffin from the rear of the car, and have been asked what type of car is it??
    I am a firm believer that it enhances the front of the car, so go for it!!!

    I too de-badged the boot and have an Irmy grille.....someone at work came up to me and said " oh its one of them Irmscher cars...fast arent they!" dooooh
