Default Still Looking at Insignia Tourers

Ok Still looking for a reasonable Sports Tourer Elite, looked at many pictures on dealer web sites and wonder if the round knob(thays not a person I'm refering to) situated on drivers side just rear of the gearstick is the Flexride control????

Nope, its for the sat nav etc.

I've just got an SRI Nav tourer last week and I love it. I actually almost turned into a Vauxhall hater after my Vectra but I'm far from that now!

The dial you are on about is a take off from what BMW did a few years back. Satnav/Bluetooth/Radio/CD/MP3 etc. The Flexride buttons are located on the left hand side of the console next to the hazard warning light switch. I spent ages trying to find an elite hatch with flexride, but being a factory option on the elite trim they are like rocking horse poo. Need to go to the Bi-Turbo range to find it as standard.

Problem is most S/H Car Dealers do not know that Insignia can have Flexride so its not on the specification lingo they issue, they probably do not even know what it means. Aah well keep looking then.

Due to the design, it can not be called an estate. Something to do with how the boot lid slopes rather than it being a box!! so im lead to believe.

That's just not true, you can call any car anything you want. Vauxhall don't use the estate name simply because they want to move their brand image up market. If what you're saying was true, why do Jaguar get away with calling their hatchback XK8 a "coupe"? If you can find any reference anywhere about the rules for what can be called an estate, I'll eat my hat.
