    Default Tow bar wiring

Right ive just been to the old mans to fetch hiz caravan so i can sell it on my front however when i plugged it in nothing worked so gave ita wiggle nothing thought sod it its one mile to mine and only one road.
So i got it back time for a look while its connected before i want to tow mine looks in the back and im met with this IMG_00000028.jpg
The grey wire just shoved in fuse 3 and no inline fuse init ive stuck a fuse in and dverything works now but is they a plug and play like the frontera or could i wire it direct to the plug bit on the board for one i holiday a lot and the buzz would super wee me off within a few mile. And two the wiring looks pants and probably drain the battery if connected together to leave it permanently connected

I fitted the one the other week just plunged it in and worked first time the instructions are not that good as they say just to plug the wire's in the socket on the board they don't say you have to unplug the one that's in there to start with after you fit the relay bock
