Engine Management Light On Dash !!!!

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I changed both headlamp bulbs on my facelift Vectra. Removed air box top and did drivers side light that way.
Passenger side I just removed screenwash filler neck etc etc.

Whilst I was in the air box I decided to remove that little plastic part that restricts the filter being used 100% as described in the air box mod.

Finally today whilst driving home the engine management light has come on, not the spanner light just the one under the fuel gauge. The car hasn't slowed down or lost power etc etc and is driving completely normal apart from this light being on constant.

any ideas???

I am just trying the battery off for 30 mins trick see if it cures the problem.

Ok so battery disconnect hasn't worked. Grrrrrrr !!! Anyone in Doncaster got a code reader to help me please?

u didnt happen to do the drivers side then turn the ignotion to postion 2 to try it did you ???

Stupid question time, you did remember to plug the MAF back in when you put the airbox lid on, didn't you?!?!

Tried drivers light when I done it yes and left normal non upgraded bulb in pass side. Never disconnected maf sensor in first place.

Apparently according to manual it's exhaust emissions ??? Not engine management

Lol I wish just un did all the pipes from top of air box and removed maf sensor that way
