Default changing the worn vxr seat base

i said id pop over and help Paulmac change over his vxr drivers seat base ( the bolster sags from getting in and out all the time ) ,so as i had a new one to fit to mine , thought last night at 9.pm id take mine out , and do it first , ( at least if i dont do it right , ill let paul know i cant do it . ) so got it all done by mid night , as they use staples on 2 bits off it and they would not go back in , so use 2 cable ties , and some spray adhesive. ( you cant see the bits and no stress is on them , ) so all back together, job done , so this morning i went off to paul,s knowing how to do it , and was done in no time at all .

paul then took me out for a spin in his vxr ( heavily tuned ) OMG what a beast it is now , good job his brakes are as big as my wheels

a couple off the seat being repaired

What a difference buddy welldone!. What sort of price is a new foam base? My bolster is fine just now but there does seem to be problem with the vxr seats and mines I'm sure will sag eventually.

David as i bought the vxr interior last year , it was a bit worn then ( it is a problem as the side bolster gets all your weight , when getting in and out ) . the cost off a new one was 30.33 inc vat .the part number was 9317652 and took around 3 days to come ( came from Germany )
