Default Alloy wheels brake dust shield or wipes

Am struggling to keep my alloys clean. It goes dirty couple of hours after a wash. What do you guys think about brake dust shield, do they over heat your breaks? Or shall I buy some alloy wipes and keep it in the boot?.?

Try changing your pads for green stuff pads they produce less brake dust than standard ones
