    Default Brake Pads

I need a set of rear brake pads for my facelift v6 cdti vectra and was looking through ebay so was wondering if there is a difference between the prefacelift and facelift pads and if someone could point me in the right direction as to which ones I need.

What sizes did you or the Parts Department person quote?
The front is 314mm vented and the rear is 292mm solid

The Parts Department person at Pollokshaws Road wasn't convinced the prices were right when I asked for a quote, but came back and confirmed they were correct
Price is full retail, no discount

    Front Pad : 93198813 £72.36
    Front Kit : 93186299 £81.46
    Rear Pad : 93192623 £57.28
    Rear Kit : 93186301 £80.46

    Apologies, should read both vented

However when entering my vehicle on TIS the sizes for a 1.9 CDTI come up!
I suspect this is the issue you encountered
The same happened when I ordered the parts for my local garage
I took one look at them and advised them that although I had provided the correct part numbers they had clearly asked for "Front Pad and Disc Kit for a diesel Vectra", woops

If it is a V6 CDTI, then it is definitely 314mm front and 292mm rear
It's actually easier to go into the Parts Department and ask for them by size rather than the part number!

As above, I had the same issue with the first few brake renewals, the Parts Department kept supplying the smaller size and the Service Department kept sending them back
After the second change I made the Service Department check the correct parts were ordered first
Then the same issue occured with some other parts
However, there was never any issue with the wrong parts during servicing (oil filter)
It's almost as if the V6 CDTI is not on TIS and is specified as a 1.9 CDTI, unless it is an actual engine component
