Default Heated Washer Jets - Can these be kept and still use Insignia Fan Jets ?

    Hi guys.

In a moment of madness, I bought a pair of Insignia Fan Windscreen Washer jets and on going to fit them thought DUH, mine are heated (Gsi)

Is there a way of "upgrading" to the fan spray type but still keeping the inbuilt heated system ?

    Cheers

    Woody

They don't do the fan spray ones in heated, because the Insignias have heaters in the bottles not the jets as far as I understand it, although someone will confirm for sure.

That's my understanding of the two types of jets too. Either unheated or heated Vectra two-stream jets or unheated Insignia fan spray jets. Or something aftermarket.

You Can on the insignia ones, retrofit the heating element from the heated washer on a omega.
