Possible Venue for a North West / North Wales "Fix It" Meet

With the "pointer" from @Critch I attended a meet last weekend where @cont1204 was having some "work" done.

The venue chosen by Critch was a "Ramp Hire" place where the owner seemed fairly amenable to doing a deal for a forum meet.

I promised him that I would let our local members know about his facility and would be in touch should there be some interest for a weekend "fix it" meeting.

Located in Birkenhead, the location has undercover facilities with 3 ramps available, each of which is usually charged out at £10 per hour by prior booking.

Alf the proprietor is an amenable guy, and interested in all commercial possibilities, to the extent that I feel sure that a Vec-C meet could make use of his facilities at a discounted rate if there is sufficient interest.

Not a meet location for those guys who are not prepared to pay a share of the cost, or for that matter, a location where the work demands full use of a ramp for several hours for a specific job, but, a useful, undercover location with a cooperative owner, just looking to make sure that it is worth his while to open up just for us on a weekend.

Normal pricing is £10 per hour for use of a ramp, but if we can get a "fixit" meet organised, this can be negotiated.

sure it would only work out couple quid each.

even if it just gives people chance to get their car in the air have a pole around under Neath
and then arrange for further work spotted to be done at a later date
