It's pretty much the same regardless of which version of Android your device uses.... highlight the word/phrase you want to copy and then use a long touch on it until 'copy' shows nearby... select 'copy' ..... then go to wherever you want to copy the item, touch the location to get the cursor in place... then long touch until your options (including 'paste') appear.

The 'clipboard' is more just an area of temporary memory than a physical screen. 'Copied to clipboard' really means 'ok, I'm remembering what you highlighted/selected' until you either put it somewhere (paste) or copy something else (although some setups will allow multiple items copied to clipboard).

Best way to learn anything with Android is to have a go ... you can't break it and you can always just do a factory reset and start again.

Drag & Drop can depend on the Android version and your settings, but in simple terms again just highlight your selected item, then long touch until it 'lifts' and drag to where you want before releasing. Some setups will show a 'placeholder' as you get to where you want to 'drop' if there are restrictions on where you can put things. Again, trial and error is your best teacher.

What exactly are you trying to move... an icon or a text selection?

Icons you just touch and hold until the 'lift', then move to where you want and release.

If it's a text selection, you're generally better off using a 'cut & paste' approach.
